It is with the greatest pleasure that I write to introduce myself and express my gratitude and excitement at having the opportunity to provide dental services for you and your family.
I am Dr. Laura Channing and I look forward to addressing your dental needs with Lawler Family Dentistry. I am passionate about helping patients improve their oral health and achieve a beautiful smile. When people ask me why I enjoy being a dentist, I explain that I love to build personal relationships with my patients and their families. I love helping people overcome concerns and fears about receiving dental treatment and focus on making their experience as comfortable as possible.
After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Biology at Northwestern College, in Roseville, MN, I attended the University of Minnesota‘s School of Dentistry, graduating in 2011. I have been practicing dentistry in the Hayward area for the past twelve years. I am very excited to join Lawler Family Dentistry this July. Joining this practice will allow me to offer the latest technology and treatment options in dentistry to my patients.
Since graduating in 2011, I have focused on pursuing further education in preventing dental disease as well as a focus on senior dental care, special needs patient care and serving patients in a nursing home setting. I also believe that providing the best patient care means being a continual learner and am pursuing further education in digital dentistry and the latest dental technologies.
In 2011, after graduating dental school, I married my husband Abel, a Hayward resident, and moved to Hayward. My husband and I both have a background in agriculture and he currently farms in the area. We have three wonderful sons: seven year old Colton, four year old Dallas and a three month old Dakota. We have been blessed with three fun and very energetic boys! We look forward to getting to know more people in the Hayward area.
